Fiat Trading Mandatory Real-name Authentication
When using a bank card, Alipay, or WeChat for fiat exchange, real-name authentication must be completed (including ID document upload and facial recognition).
Additional Verification for Large Transactions
If the daily trading amount exceeds a specific threshold (such as 50,000 RMB), additional proof of employment or address is required.
Regional Differences
In Hong Kong, mandatory real-name authentication for offline ATM transactions has been in effect since June 2023.
